How to become Emo...

Hello boys and girls, Wondering how to be emo, without asking your friends? This is the right place to be! ya ...today i'm here for who wants to know how to become emo!
well...to become emo, is very simple, you just have to take simple steps in your fucking sad and depressing life...with this manual, of course! XD

Don'te be afraid to ask i'm here for that!

So...let's see...

1º step:
Cut your hair to a very short bob-like hairstyle. Make the backside of the hair, way shorter than the front side. The long side has to be bangs, all stuck to one side. Spike up the back side, and pat down on the front side. Barrettes are nice too, if you're a girl, of course.(They've got good ones at Hot Topic and other stores like it. If you're a guy, dye your hair black or obnoxiously blonde, but preferably keep it spiked in the back and have your bangs cover one eye. You could also get your bangs/fringe dyed a lighter colour to the rest of your hair.


2º step:

You have to have really tight shirts and pencil pants.(The girls dig it, fer sure.) You might want to even shop at girl stores, for the shirts and jeans. If you wear glasses, maybe (only if you want) you could switch to black framed glasses (this is awesome for both sexes), and might want to buy a pair of shoes (vans, converse, airwalk, etc.

3ºstep:
Band pins are also a good idea. Put them on your messenger bag or on the shirt/collar of your track jacket.


4ºstep:
Boys can most definitely get away with wearing eyeliner. Most 'scene girls' see it as sexy, or something like that.

5ºstep:
Girls should wear dark black eyeliner and lengthening black mascara with black or fluorescent pink or green eyeshadow. Don't pale up your skin - that just makes you look ill.

6ºstep:
Customise and DIY! Rip jeans and cut skirts to make them shorter, sew band logos onto your bag, etc.

7ºstep:
Don't be afraid to be different from anyone - including other emos and be always on the look out for original, one off items. Markets or second-hand shops (like Goodwill!) are the best way to find awesome things.

8ºstep:
You might want to start listening to bands like: My Chemical Romance, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional, Thursday, Paramore, Panic! At the Disco, Medina Lake...

9ºstep:
Cheesy 90's Pop is cool too! Backstreet Boys especially in their album Millennium. The songs Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely and I Want It That Way are definitely emo!

10ºstep:
Remember that emo is just a style, and you don't have to cut your wrists. (hehe ^^)

some other tips
Lip rings are very fashioncore, and will get you a whole lot of "street cred" in the scenester crowd. The better the placement, the hotter you are. Stay AWAY from the gangsta' stereotypes and try to avoid the preps/jocks, unless they have emo qualities in them all ready. If you really want to be an emo kid, you are more than welcome to become friends with nerds and loners. Don't forget! When you're emo, its okay to show emo "tions"! For example, even if you're a guy its OKAY to cry in public. Being sensitive is an amazing thing.

Warnigs!!!

Do not tell people that you're emo or that you are trying to be emo or else they will call you a poser.

Don't make a big deal of it. Telling people your emo will only make them think your emotionally unstable and might call the doctor to try to "help" you.
